IT STARTS AT HOME: LEARN TO CONFIDENTLY TEACH YOUR KIDS ABOUT GOD
(by Matt Chandler, Gary Thomas and Kurt and Olivia Bruner). Who is shaping what your kids believe? Our children can grow up smart, athletic, popular and polite but lack a vibrant relationship with Christ. The few hours they spend in church each week can be helpful, but it cannot nurture a faith in our kids that will withstand the trials that are on the horizon. We must start at home. In these six sessions, we will explore biblical and tangible ways that parents– couples, single parents, blended families and grandparents—can build a legacy of faith for their children. Facilitated by Terry Hughes. No Cost
Wednesdays, 6:00 pm beginning March 22. Room 230/231
FaithWalk Community of the MidSouth is a community of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. We are a lay-led movement with active pastor(s) participation. We are a non-profit organization, and we actively seek the participation of people of all Christian denominations in our area. We are a part of a large group of 4th day communities spreading God's love and redemption throughout the United States and overseas.
We actively seek a relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by participating in a weekend of living in Christian fellowship involving a combination of carefully developed activities and teachings which are meant to lead to a fuller personal commitment to Christ. The main teaching of Faith Walk is God's unqualified love for each of us through His grace.
The Faith Walk movement endeavors to bring Christians to a closer, more personal walk with the Lord, Jesus Christ, and to encourage them to Christian leadership and action in their environments.
