Faith Baptist Church Senior Adult Ministries
At Faith Baptist we lovingly refer to Senior Adults as those who are on highway “55-North.” There are a multitude of opportunities for fellowship, Bible study, ministry, and activities for retirees as well as for “maturing adults” who are not quite ready to identify as “Senior Adults.” We will help you have “fun” along your journey with a variety of local and long-distance trips and activities, but we will also help you navigate the “55-North” pathway with a variety of seminars, Bible studies, and service opportunities.
We celebrate friendship and faith monthly around the table with a meal, alternating times between lunches at 11:30am that are catered for a minimum cost and evening meals that are covered dish at 6:00pm. We celebrate Summer with Sunday evening worship services designed especially with senior adults in mind. And…you will not want to miss the “55-North Christmas Dinner”…a great evening of food and fellowship!
There are areas of service in which you can become active. There is always an opportunity to volunteer to assist our office ministry staff with bulletins and mail outs and the Children and Preschool Ministry during Sunday services, VBS and Camp.
Senior Adults at Faith are a much loved and highly-respected group, who play a major role in this congregation. There is fellowship to be enjoyed and work to be done along the “55-North” highway—Come Join Us!!
